Selective
When Two People Need to Find Their Way Back to Clarity.
Selective, structured sessions for couples seeking clarity about their relationship, improved communication, and a deeper understanding of the patterns between them.
"Couples work is not appropriate in all situations. When it is, it is structured, intentional, and focused on clarity, accountability, and relational health."
Busayo Fasidi
LPC-Associate, Founder
All couples begin with a consultation to determine whether couples work is the right fit. If safety concerns or power imbalances are present, individual support will be recommended instead.
Four Pillars of the Work
Couples sessions here are not open-ended conversations. Every session has a clear focus and measurable direction.
Clarity
Helping both partners gain an honest, grounded understanding of where the relationship actually stands.
Communication
Building the language and structure for conversations that have felt too difficult, circular, or unsafe to have.
Relational Patterns
Identifying the dynamics at play—what drives the conflict, the disconnection, or the confusion between you.
Relational Health
Moving toward a shared understanding of what a healthier dynamic looks like—and whether it's possible here.
Structured. Honest. Intentional.
Not every couple needs the same approach. We'll determine what's right for yours before we begin.
Is This Right for You?
Couples work is selective by design. Read both sides before reaching out.
This may be a good fit if…
Both partners are willing to participate honestly
You want clarity about the relationship, not just validation
Communication has broken down and you want structured support
You are open to examining your own role in the dynamic
No active safety concerns or power imbalances are present
This may not be appropriate if…
Abuse, coercive control, or ongoing safety concerns are present
One partner is seeking validation rather than honest exploration
Either partner is unwilling to engage in the process
Individual therapy has not been explored and may be more appropriate
If any of these apply, individual therapy or coaching may be a more appropriate starting point. We can help determine that together.
Consultation Required
Every couple starts with a structured intake—no exceptions.
The Process Is Intentional at Every Step
Couples work at Reborn For Success doesn't begin with assumptions. It begins with structure.
Initial Consultation
Every couple begins with a structured consultation—not a joint session. This allows us to understand the dynamic, assess fit, and determine whether couples work is appropriate.
Individual Check-Ins
Before joint sessions begin, each partner may be seen briefly individually. This ensures both voices are heard without the pressure of the other person present.
Structured Joint Sessions
Joint sessions are focused and intentional—not open-ended conversation. Each session has a purpose, and progress is measured against it.
Ongoing Assessment
We regularly assess whether the work is appropriate and productive. If individual support would serve you better, we will say so directly.

Busayo Fasidi, LPC-Associate
Busayo works primarily with individuals navigating emotionally unhealthy or harmful relational dynamics. In select cases, she also works with couples seeking clarity, improved communication, and a deeper understanding of relational patterns.
Her approach to couples work is structured and intentional. She does not operate as a mediator or marriage counselor. The focus is always on clarity, accountability, and whether the relationship is operating within a healthy dynamic.
If individual support would serve you better, she will say so—and help you find the right path forward.

Quick Questions
Does couples work replace individual therapy?
No. Couples sessions are designed to address the relational dynamic between two people. Individual therapy addresses each person's internal experience. Many couples find both useful at different stages.
Can we do couples sessions if one of us is already working with Busayo individually?
This is assessed on a case-by-case basis. There are ethical considerations when a therapist works with both individual and couples sessions for the same client. We will discuss this during the consultation.
What if one of us doesn't want to come?
Couples sessions require genuine willingness from both partners. If one partner is unwilling to participate, individual sessions may be a better starting point.
Is this available outside of Texas?
Couples therapy (clinical) is available to Texas residents only. Couples coaching—non-clinical sessions focused on communication and clarity—may be available to those outside Texas. This will be discussed during consultation.

The first step is always a consultation—not a commitment. Let's have an honest conversation about whether couples work is the right fit.
